An electrical engineering services company brought a 15kW Schneider Electric Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to our workshop after the unit failed to power up during operation. The drive malfunction posed a challenge to ongoing electrical system activities and required immediate technical intervention.

Upon receipt, Team Teknifix conducted a detailed inspection and diagnostic assessment of the drive. An investigation revealed a failed component within the power board, which resulted in a power section fault, preventing the drive from operating normally.

To restore functionality, the compromised components were replaced with compatible OEM-grade components. Following reassembly, the drive underwent comprehensive testing to verify operational stability and performance. The unit was successfully restored and returned to service in good working condition.

The project included:

• Detailed physical inspection of internal components and wiring connections
• Diagnosis and  replacement of defective parts
