A plastics manufacturing company experienced a fault on a B&R Power Panel Human Machine Interface (HMI). The unit powered on but failed to display any information on the screen. The loss of the operator interface affected process monitoring and machine control, making immediate corrective action necessary.

The HMI was brought to our workshop for detailed diagnostics. Following inspection, Team Teknifix confirmed that both the display screen and touchscreen assembly had failed and required replacement to restore full functionality.

The compromised components were replaced, after which the HMI underwent functional testing to verify display quality, touch responsiveness, and overall system performance. The unit was successfully restored to OEM operating standards and returned to service.

The project included:

•  Continuity testing to ensure no short circuit between positive and negative terminals
• Physical inspection of internal components and electrical connections
• Diagnosis of display and touchscreen failure
• Replacement of defective components with OEM-certified spares
• Functional testing and performance verification of the HMI

The work was completed within schedule, restoring the HMI to full operational condition and enabling uninterrupted machine monitoring and control.
